Cape Ann Transportation Authority is a non-profit transit service that offers the convenience of transportation across the Cape Ann area, including additional services to Danvers and Peabody Malls and in Ipswich, Essex and Beverly.
For over 40 years, CATA has served citizens and tourists of Cape Ann and the North Shore, and continues to save money and protect the environment by maintaining the quality and practicality of public transportation.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Federal Fiscal Year 2016-2018 Goal
The Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA), in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation Regulations at 49 CFR Part 26, has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation Goal for Federal Fiscal Year 2016-2018. CATA has developed a Regional Transit Plan which will aid in improving our local bus service, identifying new markets, and meeting the needs of the Cape Ann community.
